Children’s book
This project is based on the story of an elephant who wants to join the pig and the other animals while they are dancing. Even though the elephant is different and wears a lampshade, he still wants to be part of the fun.
For this project, I created my own illustrations to visually tell the story.

Sketches
I started up coming up with ideas and quickly putting them to paper. My idea was to make the eyes of the characters really big to give off that cartoony look. 
Process
I started with putting my sketches into photoshop and put some simple color on them. It looked a bit dull at that stage but after doing the lineart I could get a better feeling for what colors I wanted to use.
